Competitive Team tryouts - 2025
Under 11 boys & Under 11 girls - our goal is to have two teams for boys and two teams for girls for this summer. For any of the under 9 aged players, they are allowed to tryout for the under 11 teams as under 11 is the earliest age that offers a structured league island wide. If an under 9 player is chosen for an under 11 team then they will pay the full registration fee of $200 for this age group. For the under 9 players who tryout for under 11 and do not make it, we are hoping to have under 9 travel teams like we did on the girls side in 2024. We had 8 girls who trained all summer with the under 11 girls last year for practices and attended a couple of the one day jamborees that other clubs hosted. The program was a huge success and we would like to continue this process this year. Therefore when it is all said and done we would like to have two teams each at Under 11 boys and Under 11 girls and a travel team each at Under 9 boys and Under 9 girls.
Under 13 boys & Under 13 girls - our goal is to have at least one team each for this age group, on the girls side the registrations are looking pretty good for numbers but we definitely need some more boys to register.
Under 15 & Under 18 age groups - there is a chance that there may be an under 15 team operating out of Evangeline this summer, registrations all around for these age groups though are very light so far so we need to get more people registered so that we can see what we have for potential teams.
The first number of sessions will be indoors at Hernewood - players please make sure that they have clean indoor sneakers (no cleats) as well as their shinpads. The first tryout schedule is as follows....
